16 This also shall be my salvation, That a godless man shall not come before him.
In that day you will say, "I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation."
Yah is my strength and song, He has become my salvation: This is my God, and I will praise him; My father's God, and I will exalt him.
For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, When God takes away his life? Will God hear his cry, When trouble comes on him? Will he delight himself in the Almighty, And call on God at all times?
"But those who are godless in heart lay up anger. They don't cry for help when he binds them.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.
The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless ones: Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burning?
Truly in vain is [the help that is looked for] from the hills, the tumult on the mountains: truly in Yahweh our God is the salvation of Israel.

Job here comes to make application of what he had said in the foregoing chapter; and now we have him not in so good a temper as he was in then: for,
