7 Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,
Great multitudes from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and from beyond the Jordan followed him.
He came down with them, and stood on a level place, with a crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases;
They set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill-country of Naphtali, and Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (the same is Hebron) in the hill-country of Judah.
Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammothdor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.
He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons.
It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.
They answered him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee."
So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death. Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim. He stayed there with his disciples.
Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "What, does the Christ come out of Galilee?
They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand. He went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John was baptizing at first, and there he stayed. Many came to him. They said, "John indeed did no sign, but everything that John said about this man is true."
