1 He said to them, "Most assuredly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power."
"But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.

But I tell you the truth: There are some of those who stand here, who will in no way taste of death, until they see the Kingdom of God."
for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until the Kingdom of God comes."
But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ.{"Christ" (Greek) and "Messiah" (Hebrew) both mean "Anointed One"}
that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
This saying therefore went out among the brothers{The word for "brothers" here may be also correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, that this disciple wouldn't die. Yet Jesus didn't say to him that he wouldn't die, but, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?"

The two last verses are somewhat difficult, and interpreters agree not in the sense of them; for every one in general, or rather every one of them that are cast into hell, shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Therefore have salt in yourselves.
