14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. The work of a man's hands shall be rewarded to him.
By the fruit of his lips, a man enjoys good things; But the unfaithful crave violence.
Tell the righteous "Good!" For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them; For the deeds of his hands will be paid back to him.
Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!
A man's stomach is filled with the fruit of his mouth. With the harvest of his lips he is satisfied. Death and life are in the power of the tongue; Those who love it will eat its fruit.
He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward: and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most assuredly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward."
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to everyone according to his deeds.
Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you, and to give relief to you that are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,
