18 There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword, But the tongue of the wise heals.
My soul is among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
For they are life to those who find them, And health to their whole body.
A wicked messenger falls into trouble, But a trustworthy envoy gains healing.
The lips of the wise spread knowledge; Not so with the heart of fools.
And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.{Gehenna is a name that describes a burning Hell with rotting bodies and unclean things in it} For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and thing in the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind. But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver. The heart of the wicked is of little worth. The lips of the righteous feed many, But the foolish die for lack of understanding.
A man who gives false testimony against his neighbor Is like a club, a sword, or a sharp arrow.
He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.
in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
