23 A prudent man keeps his knowledge, But the hearts of fools proclaim foolishness.
Every prudent man acts from knowledge, But a fool exposes folly.
The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, But the mouth of fools gush out folly.
Wise men lay up knowledge, But the mouth of the foolish is near ruin.
In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, But he who restrains his lips does wisely.
The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but a fool is swallowed by his own lips. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness. A fool also multiplies words. Man doesn't know what will be; and that which will be after him, who can tell him?
