11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown, But the tent of the upright will flourish.
Yahweh's curse is in the house of the wicked, But he blesses the habitation of the righteous.
He shall lean on his house, but it shall not stand. He shall cling to it, but it shall not endure.
Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, In the innermost parts of your house; Your children like olive plants, Around your table.
For you say, 'Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?'
Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell--and great was its fall."
I will cause it to go out," says Yahweh of Hosts, "and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones."
and Yahweh will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make strong your bones; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters don't fail. Those who shall be of you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
If you were pure and upright, Surely now he would awaken for you, And make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous.
The Righteous One considers the house of the wicked, And brings the wicked to ruin.
His seed will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.
"This is the portion of a wicked man with God, The heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty. If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. Those who remain of him shall be buried in death. His widows shall make no lamentation. Though he heap up silver as the dust, And prepare clothing as the clay; He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, And the innocent shall divide the silver. He builds his house as the moth, As a booth which the watchman makes. He lies down rich, but he shall not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not. Terrors overtake him like waters; A tempest steals him away in the night. The east wind carries him away, and he departs; It sweeps him out of his place. For it hurls at him, and does not spare, As he flees away from his hand. Men shall clap their hands at him, And shall hiss him out of his place.
All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire shall devour him. It shall consume that which is left in his tent. The heavens shall reveal his iniquity, The earth shall rise up against him. The increase of his house shall depart; They shall rush away in the day of his wrath.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous, This is the place of him who doesn't know God."
He shall be rooted out of his tent where he trusts. He shall be brought to the king of terrors. There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur shall be scattered on his habitation.
