32 The wicked is brought down in his calamity, But in death, the righteous has a refuge.
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
We are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, For there is a future for the man of peace.
But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth. After my skin is destroyed, Then in my flesh shall I see God, Whom I, even I, shall see on my side. My eyes shall see, and not as a stranger. "My heart is consumed within me.
Behold, he will kill me; I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.
"Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
I heard the voice from heaven saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."
For when they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, And chased out of the world.
I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins."
Jesus said therefore again to them, "I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can't come."
This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God has numbered your kingdom, and brought it to an end; TEKEL; you are weighed in the balances, and are found wanting. PERES; your kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. In that night Belshazzar the Chaldean King was slain.
For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again; But the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns, He will sweep away the green and the burning alike.
As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.
