1 > I will give you thanks with my whole heart. Before the gods, I will sing praises to you.
Praise Yah! I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart, In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
For Yahweh is a great God, A great King above all gods.
Jesus answered them, "Isn't it written in your law, 'I said, you are gods?' If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture can't be broken), Do you say of him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You blaspheme,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God?'
"You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
> God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.
I said, "You are gods, All of you are sons of the Most High.
For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods.
> Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! Praise Yahweh, my soul, And don't forget all his benefits;
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

It does not appear, nor is it material to enquire, upon what occasion David penned this psalm; but in it,
In singing this psalm we must in like manner devote ourselves to God's praise and glory and repose ourselves in his power and goodness.
