22 Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, Since we have hoped in you.
Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it done to you."
But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, But he who trusts in Yahweh, loving kindness shall surround him.
Remember your word to your servant, Because you gave me hope.

Psalm 33
This is a psalm of praise; it is probable that David was the penman of it, but we are not told so, because God would have us look above the penmen of sacred writ, to that blessed Spirit that moved and guided them. The psalmist, in this psalm,
We need not be at a loss for proper thoughts in singing this psalm, which so naturally expresses the pious affections of a devout soul towards God.
