28 My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.
My tongue will also talk about your righteousness all day long, For they are disappointed, and they are confounded, who want to harm me.
My mouth will speak the praise of Yahweh. Let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.
> I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me."
My mouth will tell about your righteousness, And of your salvation all day, Though I don't know its full measure.
I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. Let your meditation be sweet to him. I will rejoice in Yahweh.

Psalm 35
David, in this psalm, appeals to the righteous Judge of heaven and earth against his enemies that hated and persecuted him. It is supposed that Saul and his party are the persons he means, for with them he had the greatest struggles.
In singing this psalm, and praying over it, we must take heed of applying it to any little peevish quarrels and enmities of our own, and of expressing by it any uncharitable revengeful resentments of injuries done to us; for Christ has taught us to forgive our enemies and not to pray against them, but to pray for them, as he did; but,
