26 `The priest who is making atonement with it doth eat it, in the holy place it is eaten, in the court of the tent of meeting;
`Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin-offering in the holy place, for it `is' most holy -- and it He hath given to you to take away the iniquity of the company, to make atonement for them before Jehovah? lo, its blood hath not been brought in unto the holy place within; eating ye do eat it in the holy place, as I have commanded.'
And it hath been to them for an inheritance; I `am' their inheritance: and a possession ye do not give to them in Israel; I `am' their possession. The present, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering, they do eat, and every devoted thing in Israel is theirs.
`And thou hast made the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward, hangings for the court of twined linen, a hundred by the cubit `is' the length for the one side, and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets `are' of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets `are' of silver; and so for the north side in length, hangings of a hundred `cubits' in length, and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets `are' of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets `are' of silver. `And `for' the breadth of the court at the west side `are' hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. And `for' the breadth of the court at the east side, eastward, `are' fifty cubits. And the hangings at the side `are' fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three. And at the second side `are' hangings fifteen `cubits', their pillars three, and their sockets three. `And for the gate of the court a covering of twenty cubits, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of an embroiderer; their pillars four, their sockets four. All the pillars of the court round about `are' filleted `with' silver, their pegs `are' silver, and their sockets brass. `The length of the court `is' a hundred by the cubit, and the breadth fifty by fifty, and the height five cubits, of twined linen, and their sockets `are' brass,
And he maketh the court; at the south side southward, the hangings of the court of twined linen, a hundred by the cubit, their pillars `are' twenty, and their brazen sockets twenty, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets `are' silver; and at the north side, a hundred by the cubit, their pillars `are' twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the pegs of the pillars and their fillets `are' silver; and at the west side `are' hangings, fifty by the cubit; their pillars `are' ten, and their sockets ten; the pegs of the pillars and their fillets `are' silver; and at the east side eastward fifty cubits. The hangings on the side `are' fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three, and at the second side at the gate of the court, on this and on that, `are' hangings, fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three; all the hangings of the court round about `are' of twined linen, and the sockets for the pillars of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets of silver, and the overlaying of their tops of silver, and all the pillars of the court are filleted with silver. And the covering of the gate of the court `is' the work of an embroiderer, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen; and twenty cubits `is' the length, and the height with the breadth five cubits, over-against the hangings of the court; and their pillars `are' four, and their sockets of brass four, their pegs `are' of silver, and the overlaying of their tops and their fillets `are' of silver;
This is thine of the most holy things, from the fire: all their offering, to all their present, and to all their sin-offering, and to all their guilt-offering, which they give back to Me, is most holy to thee, and to thy sons; in the holy of holies thou dost eat it; every male doth eat it; holy it is to thee.

Commentary on Leviticus 6 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 6
The first seven verses of this chapter might fitly have been added to the foregoing chapter, being a continuation of the law of the trespass-offering, and the putting of other cases in which it was to be offered; and with this end the instructions God gave concerning the several kinds of sacrifices that should be offered: and then at v. 8 (which in the original begins a new section of the law) he comes to appoint the several rites and ceremonies concerning these sacrifices which had not been mentioned before.
Lev 6:1-7
This is the latter part of the law of the trespass-offering: the former part, which concerned trespasses about holy things, we had in the close of the foregoing chapter; this concerns trespasses in common things. Observe here,
Lev 6:8-13
Hitherto we have had the instructions which Moses was directed to give to the people concerning the sacrifices; but here begin the instructions he was to give to the priests; he must command Aaron and his sons, v. 9. The priests were rulers in the house of God, but these rulers must be ruled; and those that had the command of others must themselves be commanded. Let ministers remember that not only commissions, but commands, were given to Aaron and his sons, who must be in subjection to them.
In these verses we have the law of the burnt-offering, as far as it was the peculiar care of the priests. The daily sacrifice of a lamb, which was offered morning and evening for the whole congregation, is here chiefly referred to.
Lev 6:14-23
The meat-offering was either that which was offered by the people or that by the priests at their consecration. Now,
Lev 6:24-30
We have here so much of the law of the sin-offering as did peculiarly concern the priests that offered it. As,
