21 Whoso is pursuing righteousness and kindness, Findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
`Happy those hungering and thirsting for righteousness -- because they shall be filled.
An abomination to Jehovah `is' the way of the wicked, And whoso is pursuing righteousness He loveth.
The end of humility `is' the fear of Jehovah, Riches, and honour, and life.
Hearken unto Me, ye pursuing righteousness, Seeking Jehovah, Look attentively unto the rock -- ye have been hewn, And unto the hole of the pit -- ye have been digged.
to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, do seek glory, and honour, and incorruptibility -- life age-during; and to those contentious, and disobedient, indeed, to the truth, and obeying the unrighteousness -- indignation and wrath, tribulation and distress, upon every soul of man that is working the evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek; and glory, and honour, and peace, to every one who is working the good, both to Jew first, and to Greek.
So, then, the things of peace may we pursue, and the things of building up one another;
all things prove; that which is good hold fast;
and thou, O man of God, these things flee, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness;
the good strife I have striven, the course I have finished, the faith I have kept, henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of the righteousness that the Lord -- the Righteous Judge -- shall give to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those loving his manifestation.
peace pursue with all, and the separation, apart from which no one shall see the Lord,

Sacrifices were of divine institution; and when they were offered in faith, and with repentance and reformation, God was greatly honoured by them and well-pleased in them. But they were often not only unacceptable, but an abomination, to God, and he declared so, which was an indication both that they were not required for their own sakes and that there were better things, and for effectual, in reserve, when sacrifice and offering should be done away. They were an abomination,
