7 Of an evil report he is not afraid, Prepared is His heart, confident in Jehovah.
Prepared is my heart, O God, Prepared is my heart, I sing and praise.
And whoso is hearkening to me dwelleth confidently, And `is' quiet from fear of evil!'
The righteous doth rejoice in Jehovah, And hath trusted in Him, And boast themselves do all the upright of heart!
I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.
wherefore be of good cheer, men! for I believe God, that so it shall be, even as it hath been spoken to me,
`Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, also in me believe;
Be not afraid of sudden fear, And of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh. For Jehovah is at thy side, And He hath kept thy foot from capture.
Better to take refuge in Jehovah than to trust in man, Better to take refuge in Jehovah, Than to trust in princes.
Trust in Him at all times, O people, Pour forth before Him your heart, God `is' a refuge for us. Selah.
The day I am afraid I am confident toward Thee. In God I praise His word, in God I have trusted, I fear not what flesh doth to me.
By David. Jehovah `is' my light and my salvation, Whom do I fear? Jehovah `is' the strength of my life, Of whom am I afraid? When evil doers come near to me to eat my flesh, My adversaries and mine enemies to me, They have stumbled and fallen. Though a host doth encamp against me, My heart doth not fear, Though war riseth up against me, In this I `am' confident.
and Paul answered, `What do ye -- weeping, and crushing mine heart? for I, not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem, am ready, for the name of the Lord Jesus;'

Commentary on Psalms 112 Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible
PSALM 112
Ps 112:1-10. This Psalm may be regarded as an exposition of Ps 111:10, presenting the happiness of those who fear and obey God, and contrasting the fate of the ungodly.
1. True fear produces obedience and this happiness.
2, 3. Temporal blessings follow the service of God, exceptions occurring only as they are seen by God to be inconsistent with those spiritual blessings which are better.
4. light—figurative for relief (Ps 27:1; 97:11).
the upright—are like God (Lu 6:36; Ps 111:4).
5-9. Generosity, sound judgment in business, and confidence in God, form a character which preserves from fear of evil and ensures success against enemies. While a man thus truly pious is liberal, he increases in substance.
6. not be moved—(compare Ps 13:4; 15:5).
8. heart is established—or, firm in right principles.
see his desire—(Ps 50:23; 54:7).
10. Disappointed in their malevolent wishes by the prosperity of the pious, the wicked are punished by the working of their evil passions, and come to naught.
