When, therefore, they dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, `Simon, `son' of Jonas, dost thou love me more than these?' he saith to him, `Yes, Lord; thou hast known that I dearly love thee;' he saith to him, `Feed my lambs.' He saith to him again, a second time, `Simon, `son' of Jonas, dost thou love me?' he saith to him, `Yes, Lord; thou hast known that I dearly love thee;' he saith to him, `Tend my sheep.' He saith to him the third time, `Simon, `son' of Jonas, dost thou dearly love me?' He hath brought me in unto a house of wine, And his banner over me `is' love, Sustain me with grape-cakes, Support me with citrons, for I `am' sick with love.
We have thought, O God, of Thy kindness, In the midst of Thy temple,
Shout to Jehovah, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.
