Matthew 22:7 - But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and G2532 he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and G2532 burned up their city.
Matthew 22:9 - Go ye therefore into the highways, and G2532 as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
Matthew 22:10 - So G2532 those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and G2532 good: and G2532 the wedding was furnished with guests.
Matthew 22:12 - And G2532 he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Matthew 22:13 - Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and G2532 foot, and take him away, and G2532 cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and G2532 gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 22:16 - And G2532 they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and G2532 teachest the way of God in truth, G2532 neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
Matthew 22:20 - And G2532 he saith unto them, Whose is this image and G2532 superscription?
Matthew 22:21 - They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and G2532 unto God the things that are God's.
Matthew 22:22 - When G2532 they had heard these words, they marvelled, and G2532 left him, and went their way.
Matthew 22:23 - The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and G2532 asked him,
Matthew 22:24 - Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and G2532 raise up seed unto his brother.
Matthew 22:25 - Now there were with us seven brethren: and G2532 the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, G2532 having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
Matthew 22:26 - Likewise the second also, G2532 and G2532 the third, unto the seventh.
Matthew 22:27 - And last of all the woman died also. G2532
Matthew 22:32 - I am the God of Abraham, and G2532 the God of Isaac, and G2532 the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Matthew 22:33 - And G2532 when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
Matthew 22:35 - Then G2532 one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and G2532 saying,
Matthew 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and G2532 with all thy soul, and G2532 with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 - This is the first and G2532 great commandment.
Matthew 22:40 - On these two commandments hang all the law and G2532 the prophets.
Matthew 22:46 - And G2532 no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
Matthew 23:1 - Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and G2532 to his disciples,
Matthew 23:2 - Saying, The scribes and G2532 the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Matthew 23:3 - All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and G2532 do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and G2532 do not.
Matthew 23:4 - For they bind heavy burdens and G2532 grievous to be borne, and G2532 lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
Matthew 23:5 - But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and G2532 enlarge the borders of their garments,
Matthew 23:6 - And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and G2532 the chief seats in the synagogues,
Matthew 23:7 - And G2532 greetings in the markets, and G2532 to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Matthew 23:9 - And G2532 call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matthew 23:12 - And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and G2532 he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Matthew 23:13 - But woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Matthew 23:14 - Woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and G2532 for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
Matthew 23:15 - Woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and G2532 land to make one proselyte, and G2532 when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Matthew 23:17 - Ye fools and G2532 blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
Matthew 23:18 - And, G2532 Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
Matthew 23:19 - Ye fools and G2532 blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
Matthew 23:20 - Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and G2532 by all things thereon.
Matthew 23:21 - And G2532 whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and G2532 by him that dwelleth therein.
Matthew 23:22 - And G2532 he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and G2532 by him that sitteth thereon.
Matthew 23:23 - Woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and G2532 anise and G2532 cummin, and G2532 have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, G2532 mercy, and G2532 faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Matthew 23:25 - Woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and G2532 of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and G2532 excess.
Matthew 23:26 - Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and G2532 platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. G2532
Matthew 23:27 - Woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and G2532 of all uncleanness.
Matthew 23:28 - Even so ye also G2532 outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and G2532 iniquity.
Matthew 23:29 - Woe unto you, scribes and G2532 Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and G2532 garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
Matthew 23:30 - And G2532 say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
Matthew 23:32 - Fill ye up then G2532 the measure of your fathers.
Matthew 23:34 - Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and G2532 wise men, and G2532 scribes: and G2532 some of them ye shall kill and G2532 crucify; and G2532 some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and G2532 persecute them from city to city:
Matthew 23:35 - That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and G2532 the altar.
Matthew 23:37 - O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and G2532 stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and G2532 ye would not!
