Mark 5:5 - And G2532 always, night and G2532 day, he was in the mountains, and G2532 in the tombs, crying, and G2532 cutting himself with stones.
Mark 5:6 - But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and G2532 worshipped him,
Mark 5:7 - And G2532 cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do G2532 with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
Mark 5:9 - And G2532 he asked him, What is thy name? And G2532 he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
Mark 5:10 - And G2532 he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
Mark 5:12 - And G2532 all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
Mark 5:13 - And G2532 forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And G2532 the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and G2532 the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and G2532 were choked in the sea.
Mark 5:14 - And they that fed the swine fled, and G2532 told it in the city, and G2532 in the country. And G2532 they went out to see what it was that was done.
Mark 5:15 - And G2532 they come to Jesus, and G2532 see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and G2532 clothed, and G2532 in his right mind: and G2532 they were afraid.
Mark 5:16 - And G2532 they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and G2532 also concerning the swine.
Mark 5:17 - And G2532 they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
Mark 5:18 - And G2532 when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
Mark 5:19 - Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and G2532 tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and G2532 hath had compassion on thee.
Mark 5:20 - And G2532 he departed, and G2532 began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and G2532 all men did marvel.
Mark 5:21 - And G2532 when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and G2532 he was nigh unto the sea.
Mark 5:22 - And, G2532 behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and G2532 when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
Mark 5:23 - And G2532 besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and G2532 she shall live.
Mark 5:24 - And G2532 Jesus went with him; and G2532 much people followed him, and G2532 thronged him.
Mark 5:25 - And G2532 a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
Mark 5:26 - And G2532 had suffered many things of many physicians, and G2532 had spent all that she had, and G2532 was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
Mark 5:29 - And G2532 straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and G2532 she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Mark 5:30 - And G2532 Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
Mark 5:31 - And G2532 his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and G2532 sayest thou, Who touched me?
Mark 5:32 - And G2532 he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
Mark 5:33 - But the woman fearing and G2532 trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and G2532 fell down before him, and G2532 told him all the truth.
Mark 5:34 - And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and G2532 be whole of thy plague.
Mark 5:37 - And G2532 he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and G2532 James, and G2532 John the brother of James.
Mark 5:38 - And G2532 he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and G2532 seeth the tumult, and them that wept and G2532 wailed greatly.
Mark 5:39 - And G2532 when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and G2532 weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
Mark 5:40 - And G2532 they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and G2532 the mother of the damsel, and G2532 them that were with him, and G2532 entereth in where the damsel was lying.
Mark 5:41 - And G2532 he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
Mark 5:42 - And G2532 straightway the damsel arose, and G2532 walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And G2532 they were astonished with a great astonishment.
Mark 5:43 - And G2532 he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and G2532 commanded that something should be given her to eat.
Mark 6:1 - And G2532 he went out from thence, and G2532 came into his own country; and G2532 his disciples follow him.
Mark 6:2 - And G2532 when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and G2532 many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and G2532 what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even G2532 such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Mark 6:3 - Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and G2532 Joses, and G2532 of Juda, and G2532 Simon? and G2532 are not his sisters here with us? And G2532 they were offended at him.
Mark 6:4 - But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and G2532 among his own kin, and G2532 in his own house.
Mark 6:5 - And G2532 he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
Mark 6:6 - And G2532 he marvelled because of their unbelief. And G2532 he went round about the villages, teaching.
Mark 6:7 - And G2532 he called unto him the twelve, and G2532 began to send them forth by two and two; and G2532 gave them power over unclean spirits;
Mark 6:8 - And G2532 commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
Mark 6:9 - But be shod with sandals; and G2532 not put on two coats.
Mark 6:10 - And G2532 he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.
Mark 6:11 - And G2532 whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Mark 6:12 - And G2532 they went out, and preached that men should repent.
Mark 6:13 - And G2532 they cast out many devils, and G2532 anointed with oil many that were sick, and G2532 healed them.
Mark 6:14 - And G2532 king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and G2532 he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and G2532 therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
Mark 6:17 - For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and G2532 bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
Mark 6:19 - Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and G2532 would have killed him; but G2532 she could not:
Mark 6:20 - For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and G2532 an holy, and G2532 observed him; and G2532 when he heard him, he did many things, and G2532 heard him gladly.
