James 1:1 - James, a servant of God and G2532 of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James 1:4 - But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and G2532 entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and G2532 upbraideth not; and G2532 it shall be given him.
James 1:6 - But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and G2532 tossed.
James 1:11 - For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but G2532 it withereth the grass, and G2532 the flower thereof falleth, and G2532 the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also G2532 shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
James 1:14 - But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and G2532 enticed.
James 1:17 - Every good gift and G2532 every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:21 - Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and G2532 superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and G2532 not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 1:23 - For if any be a hearer of the word, and G2532 not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
James 1:24 - For he beholdeth himself, and G2532 goeth his way, and G2532 straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
James 1:25 - But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and G2532 continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
James 1:27 - Pure religion and G2532 undefiled before God and G2532 the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and G2532 widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 2:2 - For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also G2532 a poor man in vile raiment;
James 2:3 - And G2532 ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and G2532 say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and G2532 say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
James 2:4 - Are ye not then G2532 partial in yourselves, and G2532 are become judges of evil thoughts?
James 2:5 - Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and G2532 heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
James 2:6 - But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and G2532 draw you before the judgment seats?
James 2:11 - For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, G2532 Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
James 2:12 - So speak ye, and G2532 so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
James 2:13 - For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and G2532 mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
James 2:15 - If a brother or sister be naked, and G2532 destitute of daily food,
James 2:16 - And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and G2532 filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
James 2:17 - Even G2532 so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
James 2:19 - Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also G2532 believe, and G2532 tremble.
James 2:22 - Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and G2532 by works was faith made perfect?
James 2:23 - And G2532 the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and G2532 it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and G2532 he was called the Friend of God.
James 2:24 - Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and G2532 not by faith only.
James 2:25 - Likewise also G2532 was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and G2532 had sent them out another way?
James 2:26 - For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. G2532
James 3:2 - For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also G2532 to bridle the whole body.
James 3:3 - Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and G2532 we turn about their whole body.
James 3:4 - Behold also G2532 the ships, which though they be so great, and G2532 are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
James 3:5 - Even G2532 so the tongue is a little member, and G2532 boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
