1 Samuel 17:8 - And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, H6430 and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
1 Samuel 17:10 - And the Philistine H6430 said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.
1 Samuel 17:11 - When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, H6430 they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
1 Samuel 17:16 - And the Philistine H6430 drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
1 Samuel 17:19 - Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines. H6430
1 Samuel 17:21 - For Israel and the Philistines H6430 had put the battle in array, army against army.
1 Samuel 17:23 - And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine H6430 of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, H6430 and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.
1 Samuel 17:26 - And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, H6430 and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, H6430 that he should defy the armies of the living God?
1 Samuel 17:32 - And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. H6430
1 Samuel 17:33 - And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine H6430 to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
1 Samuel 17:36 - Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine H6430 shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
1 Samuel 17:37 - David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. H6430 And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
1 Samuel 17:40 - And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. H6430
1 Samuel 17:41 - And the Philistine H6430 came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.
1 Samuel 17:42 - And when the Philistine H6430 looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
1 Samuel 17:43 - And the Philistine H6430 said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine H6430 cursed David by his gods.
1 Samuel 17:44 - And the Philistine H6430 said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
1 Samuel 17:45 - Then said David to the Philistine, H6430 Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
1 Samuel 17:46 - This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines H6430 this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
1 Samuel 17:48 - And it came to pass, when the Philistine H6430 arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. H6430
1 Samuel 17:49 - And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine H6430 in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
1 Samuel 17:50 - So David prevailed over the Philistine H6430 with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, H6430 and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
1 Samuel 17:51 - Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, H6430 and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines H6430 saw their champion was dead, they fled.
1 Samuel 17:52 - And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, H6430 until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines H6430 fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.
1 Samuel 17:53 - And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, H6430 and they spoiled their tents.
1 Samuel 17:54 - And David took the head of the Philistine, H6430 and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
1 Samuel 17:55 - And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, H6430 he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.
1 Samuel 17:57 - And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, H6430 Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine H6430 in his hand.
1 Samuel 18:6 - And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, H6430 that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.
1 Samuel 18:17 - And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD'S battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines H6430 be upon him.
1 Samuel 18:21 - And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines H6430 may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.
1 Samuel 18:25 - And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, H6430 to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. H6430
1 Samuel 18:27 - Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines H6430 two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
1 Samuel 18:30 - Then the princes of the Philistines H6430 went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.
1 Samuel 19:5 - For he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, H6430 and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?

1 Samuel 23:1 - Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines H6430 fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.
1 Samuel 23:2 - Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? H6430 And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, H6430 and save Keilah.
1 Samuel 23:3 - And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? H6430
1 Samuel 23:4 - Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines H6430 into thine hand.
1 Samuel 23:5 - So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, H6430 and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
1 Samuel 23:27 - But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines H6430 have invaded the land.
1 Samuel 23:28 - Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: H6430 therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.
1 Samuel 24:1 - And it came to pass, when Saul was returned from following the Philistines, H6430 that it was told him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.
1 Samuel 27:1 - And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; H6430 and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

1 Samuel 28:1 - And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines H6430 gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.
