10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
10 The LORD H3068 sitteth H3427 upon the flood; H3999 yea, the LORD H3068 sitteth H3427 King H4428 for ever. H5769
10 Jehovah sat `as King' at the Flood; Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.
10 Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king -- to the age,
10 Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.
10 Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, Yahweh sits as King forever.
10 The Lord had his seat as king when the waters came on the earth; the Lord is seated as king for ever.
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged; The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away. They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them. Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

So composed was David, and so cheerful, even in a dreadful tempest, when others trembled, that then he penned this psalm; for, "though the earth be removed, yet will we not fear.'
A psalm of David.
Psa 29:1-11
