It is he who shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne for ever.
And David said to all the congregation, Bless now Jehovah your God. And all the congregation blessed Jehovah the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and did homage to Jehovah and the king.
Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, from eternity to eternity! Amen, and Amen.
Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing psalms of the Lord, (Selah,) Of him that rideth upon the heavens, the heavens which are of old: lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice. Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. Terrible art thou, O God, out of thy sanctuaries, -- the ùGod of Israel! He it is that giveth strength and might unto the people. Blessed be God!
Blessed be Jehovah Elohim, the God of Israel, who alone doeth wondrous things! And blessed be his glorious name for ever! and let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen, and Amen.

The words with which chapter five begins are the same with 1 Kings 7:51 and what is contained in that and chapter six is much the same with 1 Kings 8:1 on which see the notes; the blessing of Solomon on the people of Israel, which is there, is here omitted, and two verses are here added, much the same with Psalm 132:8.
