3 Paul wanted to have him go out with him, and he took and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts; for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.
but Paul chose Silas, and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.
To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;
(for he who appointed Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision appointed me also to the Gentiles);
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing. Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Paul was a spiritual father, and as such a one we have him here adopting Timothy, and taking care of the education of many others who had been begotten to Christ by his ministry: and in all he appears to have been a wise and tender father. Here is,
Act 16:6-15
In these verses we have,
Act 16:16-24
Paul and his companions, though they were for some time buried in obscurity at Philippi, yet now begin to be taken notice of.
Now,
Act 16:25-34

Act 16:35-40
In these verses we have,
