3 And the king turneth round his face, and blesseth the whole assembly of Israel, and the whole assembly of Israel is standing,
`Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, saying, Thus ye do bless the sons of Israel, saying to them, `Jehovah bless thee and keep thee; `Jehovah cause His face to shine upon thee, and favour thee; `Jehovah lift up His countenance upon thee, and appoint for thee -- peace. `And they have put My name upon the sons of Israel, and I -- I do bless them.'
and he standeth and blesseth all the assembly of Israel `with' a loud voice, saying, `Blessed `is' Jehovah who hath given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He hath spoken; there hath not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spake by the hand of Moses his servant. `Jehovah our God is with us as He hath been with our fathers; He doth not forsake us nor leave us; to incline our heart unto Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers; and these my words with which I have made supplication before Jehovah, are near unto Jehovah our God by day and by night, to maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel, the matter of a day in its day; for all the peoples of the earth knowing that Jehovah, He `is' God; there is none else; and your heart hath been perfect with Jehovah our God, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commands, as `at' this day.'
And Ezra openeth the book before the eyes of all the people -- for above all the people he hath been -- and at his opening `it' all the people have stood up, and Ezra blesseth Jehovah, the great God, and all the people answer, `Amen, Amen,' with lifting up of their hands, and they bow and do obeisance to Jehovah -- faces to the earth. And Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, giving the people understanding in the law, and the people, `are' on their station,

The words with which chapter five begins are the same with 1 Kings 7:51 and what is contained in that and chapter six is much the same with 1 Kings 8:1 on which see the notes; the blessing of Solomon on the people of Israel, which is there, is here omitted, and two verses are here added, much the same with Psalm 132:8.
