Matthew 9:1 - And G2532 he entered into a ship, and passed over, and G2532 came into his own city.
Matthew 9:2 - And, G2532 behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and G2532 Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
Matthew 9:3 - And, G2532 behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
Matthew 9:4 - And G2532 Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
Matthew 9:5 - For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and G2532 walk?
Matthew 9:6 - But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and G2532 go unto thine house.
Matthew 9:7 - And G2532 he arose, and departed to his house.
Matthew 9:8 - But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and G2532 glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
Matthew 9:9 - And as G2532 Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and G2532 he saith unto him, Follow me. And G2532 he arose, and followed him.
Matthew 9:10 - And G2532 it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, G2532 behold, many publicans and G2532 sinners came and sat down with him and G2532 his disciples.
Matthew 9:11 - And G2532 when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and G2532 sinners?
Matthew 9:13 - But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and G2532 not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 9:14 - Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and G2532 the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
Matthew 9:15 - And G2532 Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and G2532 then shall they fast.
Matthew 9:16 - No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and G2532 the rent is made worse.
Matthew 9:17 - Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and G2532 the wine runneth out, and G2532 the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and G2532 both are preserved.
Matthew 9:18 - While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and G2532 she shall live.
Matthew 9:19 - And G2532 Jesus arose, and followed him, and G2532 so did his disciples.
Matthew 9:20 - And, G2532 behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
Matthew 9:22 - But Jesus turned him about, and G2532 when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And G2532 the woman was made whole from that hour.
Matthew 9:23 - And G2532 when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and G2532 saw the minstrels and G2532 the people making a noise,
Matthew 9:24 - He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And G2532 they laughed him to scorn.
Matthew 9:25 - But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and G2532 the maid arose.
Matthew 9:26 - And G2532 the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
Matthew 9:27 - And G2532 when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and G2532 saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
Matthew 9:28 - And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and G2532 Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
Matthew 9:30 - And G2532 their eyes were opened; and G2532 Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
Matthew 9:33 - And G2532 when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and G2532 the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
Matthew 9:35 - And G2532 Jesus went about all the cities and G2532 villages, teaching in their synagogues, and G2532 preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and G2532 healing every sickness and G2532 every disease among the people.
Matthew 9:36 - But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and G2532 were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Matthew 10:1 - And G2532 when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and G2532 to heal all manner of sickness and G2532 all manner of disease.
Matthew 10:2 - Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and G2532 Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and G2532 John his brother;
Matthew 10:3 - Philip, and G2532 Bartholomew; Thomas, and G2532 Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and G2532 Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
Matthew 10:4 - Simon the Canaanite, and G2532 Judas Iscariot, who also G2532 betrayed him.
Matthew 10:5 - These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and G2532 into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Matthew 10:13 - And G2532 if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Matthew 10:14 - And G2532 whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Matthew 10:15 - Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and G2532 Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Matthew 10:16 - Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and G2532 harmless as doves.
Matthew 10:17 - But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and G2532 they will scourge you in their synagogues;
Matthew 10:18 - And G2532 ye shall be brought before governors and G2532 kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and G2532 the Gentiles.
Matthew 10:21 - And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and G2532 the father the child: and G2532 the children shall rise up against their parents, and G2532 cause them to be put to death.
Matthew 10:22 - And G2532 ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 10:25 - It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and G2532 the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Matthew 10:26 - Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and G2532 hid, that shall not be known.
Matthew 10:27 - What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and G2532 what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
Matthew 10:28 - And G2532 fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both G2532 soul and G2532 body in hell.
Matthew 10:29 - Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and G2532 one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
Matthew 10:30 - But the very G2532 hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matthew 10:35 - For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and G2532 the daughter against her mother, and G2532 the daughter in law against her mother in law.
