Matthew 13:52 - Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and G2532 old.
Matthew 13:53 - And G2532 it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
Matthew 13:54 - And G2532 when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and G2532 said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and G2532 these mighty works?
Matthew 13:55 - Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and G2532 his brethren, James, and G2532 Joses, and G2532 Simon, and G2532 Judas?
Matthew 13:56 - And G2532 his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
Matthew 13:57 - And G2532 they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and G2532 in his own house.
Matthew 13:58 - And G2532 he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
Matthew 14:2 - And G2532 said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and G2532 therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
Matthew 14:3 - For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and G2532 put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
Matthew 14:5 - And G2532 when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
Matthew 14:6 - But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and G2532 pleased Herod.
Matthew 14:9 - And G2532 the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and G2532 them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
Matthew 14:10 - And G2532 he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
Matthew 14:11 - And G2532 his head was brought in a charger, and G2532 given to the damsel: and G2532 she brought it to her mother.
Matthew 14:12 - And G2532 his disciples came, and took up the body, and G2532 buried it, and G2532 went and told Jesus.
Matthew 14:13 - When G2532 Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and G2532 when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
Matthew 14:14 - And G2532 Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and G2532 was moved with compassion toward them, and G2532 he healed their sick.
Matthew 14:15 - And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and G2532 the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
Matthew 14:17 - And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and G2532 two fishes.
Matthew 14:19 - And G2532 he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and G2532 took the five loaves, and G2532 the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and G2532 brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
Matthew 14:20 - And G2532 they did all eat, and G2532 were filled: and G2532 they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
Matthew 14:21 - And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and G2532 children.
Matthew 14:22 - And G2532 straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and G2532 to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
Matthew 14:23 - And G2532 when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Matthew 14:26 - And G2532 when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and G2532 they cried out for fear.
Matthew 14:29 - And he said, Come. And G2532 when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
Matthew 14:30 - But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and G2532 beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Matthew 14:31 - And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and G2532 said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Matthew 14:32 - And G2532 when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Matthew 14:34 - And G2532 when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
Matthew 14:35 - And G2532 when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and G2532 brought unto him all that were diseased;
Matthew 14:36 - And G2532 besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and G2532 as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
Matthew 15:1 - Then came to Jesus scribes and G2532 Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
Matthew 15:3 - But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also G2532 transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Matthew 15:4 - For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and G2532 mother: and, G2532 He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
Matthew 15:6 - And G2532 honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus G2532 have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Matthew 15:8 - This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and G2532 honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matthew 15:10 - And G2532 he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and G2532 understand :
Matthew 15:16 - And Jesus said, Are ye also G2532 yet without understanding?
Matthew 15:17 - Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and G2532 is cast out into the draught?
Matthew 15:21 - Then G2532 Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and G2532 Sidon.
Matthew 15:22 - And, G2532 behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Matthew 15:23 - But he answered her not a word. And G2532 his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Matthew 15:26 - But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and G2532 to cast it to dogs.
Matthew 15:27 - And she said, Truth, Lord: yet G2532 the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
Matthew 15:28 - Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And G2532 her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Matthew 15:29 - And G2532 Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and G2532 went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
Matthew 15:30 - And G2532 great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and G2532 many others, and G2532 cast them down at Jesus' feet; and G2532 he healed them:
Matthew 15:31 - Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and G2532 the blind to see: and G2532 they glorified the God of Israel.
Matthew 15:32 - Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and G2532 have nothing to eat: and G2532 I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
