1 Kings 3:11 - And God said H559 unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
1 Kings 3:17 - And the one woman said, H559 O my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with her in the house.
1 Kings 3:22 - And the other woman said, H559 Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, H559 No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king.
1 Kings 3:23 - Then said H559 the king, The one saith, H559 This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, H559 Nay; but thy son is the dead, and my son is the living.
1 Kings 3:24 - And the king said, H559 Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king.
1 Kings 3:25 - And the king said, H559 Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
1 Kings 3:26 - Then spake H559 the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, H559 O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, H559 Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
1 Kings 3:27 - Then the king answered and said, H559 Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.
1 Kings 5:2 - And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying, H559
1 Kings 5:5 - And, behold, I purpose H559 to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, H559 Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.
1 Kings 5:6 - Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: H559 for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.
1 Kings 5:7 - And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, H559 Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.
1 Kings 5:8 - And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, H559 I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.

1 Kings 8:12 - Then spake H559 Solomon, The LORD said H559 that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
1 Kings 8:15 - And he said, H559 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying, H559
1 Kings 8:18 - And the LORD said H559 unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
1 Kings 8:23 - And he said, H559 LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
1 Kings 8:25 - Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, H559 There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
1 Kings 8:29 - That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, H559 My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
1 Kings 8:47 - Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, H559 We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
1 Kings 8:55 - And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying, H559
1 Kings 9:3 - And the LORD said H559 unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
1 Kings 9:5 - Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, H559 There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
1 Kings 9:8 - And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, H559 Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?
1 Kings 9:9 - And they shall answer, H559 Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.
1 Kings 9:13 - And he said, H559 What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.
1 Kings 10:6 - And she said H559 to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
1 Kings 11:2 - Of the nations concerning which the LORD said H559 unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
1 Kings 11:11 - Wherefore the LORD said H559 unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
1 Kings 11:18 - And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed H559 him victuals, and gave him land.
1 Kings 11:21 - And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said H559 to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to mine own country.
1 Kings 11:22 - Then Pharaoh said H559 unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, H559 Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.

1 Kings 12:5 - And he said H559 unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed.
1 Kings 12:6 - And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, H559 How do ye advise that I may answer this people?
1 Kings 12:7 - And they spake unto him, saying, H559 If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.
1 Kings 12:9 - And he said H559 unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, H559 Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?
1 Kings 12:10 - And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, H559 Thus shalt thou speak H559 unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, H559 Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.
1 Kings 12:12 - So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed, saying, H559 Come to me again the third day.
1 Kings 12:14 - And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, H559 My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
1 Kings 12:16 - So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, H559 What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.
1 Kings 12:22 - But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying, H559
1 Kings 12:23 - Speak H559 unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying, H559
1 Kings 12:24 - Thus saith H559 the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
1 Kings 12:26 - And Jeroboam said H559 in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:
1 Kings 12:28 - Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said H559 unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
1 Kings 13:2 - And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, H559 O altar, altar, thus saith H559 the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.
1 Kings 13:3 - And he gave a sign the same day, saying, H559 This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
