1 Kings 13:4 - And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, H559 Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
1 Kings 13:6 - And the king answered and said H559 unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.
1 Kings 13:8 - And the man of God said H559 unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:
1 Kings 13:9 - For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, H559 Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
1 Kings 13:13 - And he said H559 unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,
1 Kings 13:14 - And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said H559 unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, H559 I am.
1 Kings 13:15 - Then he said H559 unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.
1 Kings 13:16 - And he said, H559 I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:
1 Kings 13:18 - He said H559 unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, H559 Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
1 Kings 13:21 - And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, H559 Thus saith H559 the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,
1 Kings 13:26 - And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, H559 It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.
1 Kings 13:27 - And he spake to his sons, saying, H559 Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.
1 Kings 13:31 - And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake H559 to his sons, saying, H559 When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:
1 Kings 14:2 - And Jeroboam said H559 to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

1 Kings 17:11 - And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, H559 Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
1 Kings 17:12 - And she said, H559 As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
1 Kings 17:13 - And Elijah said H559 unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
1 Kings 17:14 - For thus saith H559 the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
1 Kings 17:18 - And she said H559 unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?
1 Kings 17:19 - And he said H559 unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.
1 Kings 17:20 - And he cried unto the LORD, and said, H559 O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
1 Kings 17:21 - And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, H559 O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
1 Kings 17:23 - And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, H559 See, thy son liveth.
1 Kings 17:24 - And the woman said H559 to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.
1 Kings 18:1 - And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, H559 Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
1 Kings 18:5 - And Ahab said H559 unto Obadiah, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive, that we lose not all the beasts.
1 Kings 18:7 - And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, H559 Art thou that my lord Elijah?
1 Kings 18:8 - And he answered H559 him, I am: go, tell H559 thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.
1 Kings 18:9 - And he said, H559 What have I sinned, that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?
1 Kings 18:10 - As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said, H559 He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.
1 Kings 18:11 - And now thou sayest, H559 Go, tell H559 thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.
1 Kings 18:14 - And now thou sayest, H559 Go, tell H559 thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here: and he shall slay me.
1 Kings 18:15 - And Elijah said, H559 As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely shew myself unto him to day.
1 Kings 18:17 - And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said H559 unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
1 Kings 18:18 - And he answered, H559 I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
1 Kings 18:21 - And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, H559 How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
1 Kings 18:22 - Then said H559 Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
1 Kings 18:24 - And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, H559 It is well spoken.
1 Kings 18:25 - And Elijah said H559 unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.
1 Kings 18:26 - And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, H559 O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
