2 Samuel 10:17 - And when it was told David, he gathered all Israel together, and passed over Jordan, and came to Helam. And the Syrians H758 set themselves in array against David, and fought with him.
2 Samuel 10:18 - And the Syrians H758 fled before Israel; and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, H758 and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there.
2 Samuel 10:19 - And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians H758 feared to help the children of Ammon any more.

1 Kings 20:22 - And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria H758 will come up against thee.
1 Kings 20:23 - And the servants of the king of Syria H758 said unto him, Their gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

1 Kings 20:27 - And the children of Israel were numbered, and were all present, and went against them: and the children of Israel pitched before them like two little flocks of kids; but the Syrians H758 filled the country.
1 Kings 20:28 - And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians H758 have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
1 Kings 20:29 - And they pitched one over against the other seven days. And so it was, that in the seventh day the battle was joined: and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians H758 an hundred thousand footmen in one day.

2 Kings 6:8 - Then the king of Syria H758 warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.
2 Kings 6:9 - And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians H758 are come down.
2 Kings 6:11 - Therefore the heart of the king of Syria H758 was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?
2 Kings 6:23 - And he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria H758 came no more into the land of Israel.
2 Kings 6:24 - And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria H758 gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria.
2 Kings 7:4 - If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: H758 if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
2 Kings 7:5 - And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: H758 and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, H758 behold, there was no man there.
2 Kings 7:6 - For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians H758 to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
2 Kings 7:10 - So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, H758 and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.
2 Kings 7:12 - And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians H758 have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
2 Kings 7:14 - They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, H758 saying, Go and see.
2 Kings 7:15 - And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians H758 had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.
2 Kings 7:16 - And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. H758 So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.
